• Health and vaccination status: All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations to protect everyone’s health.
• Compatibility checks: We ensure your pet gets along well with other dogs for a stress-free environment.

Service Requirements

Vaccinations

All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations for the following diseases to ensure the safety and health of all pets in our care:

• Rabies
• Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

Sterilization

To ensure a harmonious and safe environment for all, we have specific guidelines regarding dogs in our care.

• Spayed or neutered: All dogs over 1 year old must be spayed or neutered.
• Restrictions for females: We cannot accept females under 1 year who are in heat or pregnant.

Health

We are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of every dog in our care. To maintain a safe and healthy environment, we have a few important requirements for all dogs staying with us.

• Flea and tick prevention: All dogs must be on an active flea and tick prevention program to help keep our facility pest-free.
• Free of communicable diseases: Dogs need to be free of any communicable diseases for at least 30 days before their stay.

Behavior

A friendly demeanor is essential to maintain the happiness and safety of the group. At Clover-Pets, we prioritize creating a nurturing and secure environment that both pets and their owners can rely on.

To ensure a safe space for everyone, please note:

• Dogs must be non-aggressive in a group environment.
• Any signs of aggression will lead to disqualification from our services.

Meet & Greet Process

Every dog must pass a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a suitable match for the Clover-Pets environment, fostering a safe and enjoyable experience for every pet in our care.

Vaccination Requirements

To prioritize the health and safety of all pets in our care, current vaccinations are required to book a stay at Clover-Pets. Before your dog's reservation, please ensure that they are up-to-date on the following vaccinations:

• Rabies
• Distemper/Parvovirus
• Bordetella

Proof of vaccination must be provided prior to the start of their stay. These measures help us maintain a healthy environment for every pet.

Steps

• Initial Consultation: During this step, we discuss your dog’s history, personality, and any specific needs or concerns you may have as a pet owner.
• Behavior Evaluation: Our team will assess how your dog adapts to being away from their owner and observe their interactions with our friendly staff.
• Snout-to-Tail Assessment: This includes checking for any touch sensitivities and ensuring your dog is comfortable with basic handling.
• Controlled Play Session: Your dog will be gradually introduced to another dog under close supervision to evaluate their group socialization skills and dynamics.
• Results: After the evaluation, our team will share detailed observations. If your dog is approved, we will also provide you with a guided tour of the facility to help you feel confident in your choice.

Duration

The Meet & Greet typically lasts around 30 minutes. To ensure a smooth process, please ensure that your dog’s vaccinations are current prior to booking.

Who Can Stay with Us?

Health and age requirements

To ensure a safe environment, all dogs must:

• Be at least 12 weeks old
• Have received their first round of "adult" vaccinations

This helps protect your dog and ensures they are ready to enjoy a social, secure space.

Behavioral standards

Dogs must meet our health and behavioral guidelines to ensure they are comfortable and compatible with our facility. These policies are in place to maintain a welcoming environment for all pets.

For families with multiple dogs, we offer shared suites so they can stay together and enjoy each other’s company. It’s just one of the many ways we aim to make their stay as enjoyable as possible.

Boarding Policies

Pick-Up and Drop-Off

• Weekday drop-off: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Weekend drop-off: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Pick-up:
• Weekdays by 1 p.m. to avoid a daycamp fee.
• Weekends by 1 p.m. to avoid an additional night charge.

Cancellations

• Non-holiday cancellations within 2 days of the check-in date will incur a $30 fee.

• Holiday cancellations prior to 7 days before the holiday will receive a full refund of the 50% deposit.

• Holiday cancellations within 7 days or less before the holiday will forfeit the deposit.

Observed Holidays

Boarding reservations that fall within 5 calendar days of an observed holiday require a deposit equal to 50% of the total boarding fee.

Clover-Pets will be closed on the following holidays for regular operations to care for our furry guests exclusively staying on-site during these dates:

• Easter Sunday
• Memorial Day
• July 4th
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day
• New Year’s Day
