What We Do

We Provide Care That Your Pet Deserves

Clover Daycare and Boarding for Pets provides a low-stress environment for our pet guests with country charm. You can feel at ease knowing there is constant monitoring available for your pet since the business is located on the owner’s property. It is our mission to provide a safe, comfortable, and consistent environment for our pet guests while nurturing a lasting relationship with our clients.

An Upscale Pet Resort In a Country Setting

We offer our clients an array of full care options to include overnight boarding, full and half-day daycare, and spa for pets. Our facility is designed with high-quality materials that ensure our four-legged clients are comfortable and safe in a sanitary environment.

Vaccinations

The following vaccinations are required for all services offered by Clover-Pets: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough).

Dog-Spa

Our dog-spa services are designed to pamper your pets. We use techniques that leave our pet guests looking and feeling their best. Whether your pet just needs a bath (Dirty Dog), a spa day is in order (All Gussied Up), or light clean-ups (A La Carte), Clover-Pets has it covered! Need a full-service groom? We don't do that; however, we can keep your fur-child fresh between cuts with one of our spa packages!

Day Camp

It is our goal to provide our pet guests with the ultimate day camp experience for the working client or the day-tripper. Slots are limited so please book ahead! Please note, we cannot accept intact (unnuetered) male dogs, pregnant females, or females in heat into day camp.

Boarding

Our upscale pet resort is located in a country setting that provides our pet guests with a stress-free environment and gives you peace of mind during your travels.

Training

A well-trained pet promotes a healthy home! Call or stop by to meet our experienced and certified trainers to discuss steps towards creating a positive environment for you and your pet companion!

FAQs

Boarding Hours                                                                                          Overnight boarding clients may drop off as early as office opening hours.  Boarders picking up Monday through Friday must be picked up by 1 p.m. otherwise a full day of daycamp will be charged.

Daycamp Hours                                                                                  Daycamp is offered Monday through Friday only, weather permitting.               Full Day: 8 am to 5 pm                                                                               Half Day: 9 am to 1 pm / 1 pm to 5 pm

Absolutely! We offer scheduled tours of our facility! Drop-in tours may not be accommodated during busy hours or holiday seasons.

One must first complete a thorough Meet and Greet to ensure that they are a good fit for Day-camp. It takes approximately 30 minutes and is conducted on-site by one of our trained professionals to include the following steps:

    • Overview of paperwork, history, and health with the dog parent.
    • Our team member conducts an evaluation to observe how the pet reacts when away from their parent.
    • Our team conducts a snout to tail assessment to identify touch sensitivities to assess their comfortability.
    • Controlled mini play area, allowing one pet to join at a time to assess your pet’s comfort level.
    • Our team member will then share what they learned with the pet parent. If the pet is not yet ready for open play, recommendations to help address the observed concern(s) will be given. Any dog that is not yet comfortable is always welcome back once they are ready to join the play yard.
    • Aggression of any kind will result in automatic disqualification from day camp.
    • All dogs 1 year or older must be spayed or neutered. Females less than 1 year old who are in heat or pregnant will not be accepted.

When the weather is just not cooperating (rain, ice, extreme cold, etc.) and it is not safe or conducive for dogs to play, day-camp will be cancelled, and you will receive a cancellation notification. If you are unsure, please call prior to arrival.

At least 12 weeks old and have their first round of “adult” vaccinations to ensure they have had enough time to develop a stable immune system before they are in a facility with other dogs.

To ensure the safety of all our guests, we require all dogs staying with us for day camp or overnight boarding meet the following criteria:

    • Dogs may first undergo a Meet and Greet.
    • Dogs must be more than three months old.
    • Current on required vaccines: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella.
    • Free of any communicable diseases for 30 days.
    • Free of fleas and ticks. (Must be on a preventative)
    • All dogs 1 year or older must be spayed or neutered. Females less than 1 year old who are in heat will not be accepted.
    • All dogs must be non-aggressive no matter the breed as well as all staff members must be able to safely enter and exit the boarding run and transition your dog through the facility to the play yard.

All dogs (regardless of service) entering Clover-Pets must be current on the following vaccines: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Proof of vaccination is required. We recommend pets to be vaccinated at least 24 hours prior to check-in. All dogs be on some type of flea preventative.

Dogs from the same family can stay together in the same suite.

We administer non-injection medications to your dog while they are in our care at no additional cost. All medications must be in the original prescription container, and you must sign a consent form giving us permission to administer the medication.

Even though pets have rest areas available to them in our play areas, most of them choose to play for a good portion of the day, which may be more than they are used to at home.

For Overnight Boarding and Doggie Day-Camp, updates are available upon request and as time permits.

All dogs are required to be on a leash at all times when coming or going.

If your dog has something that is contagious, do not bring your dog to Clover until your veterinarian has confirmed that they are no longer a risk to other dogs. We recommend ill or special medical needs dogs to board at Veterinarian facilities.

We typically recommend bringing your dog’s food from home in pre-portioned re-sealable baggies, however, we do serve dry dog food for $2 per meal.

If we are unable to contact you, or your emergency contact, and feel your dog needs medical attention, we will transport your pet to their regular veterinarian. If your veterinarian is not near our facility, we will go to one of the local veterinarians that we know. If we believe that the situation is urgent or if your dog needs care after regular hours, we will take your pet to the closest veterinary emergency clinic.
